About
Kathleen Wright is a former high school teacher, a certified sleep coach, a family conflict coach, and a mom of 3-under-3.
Kathleen has always needed lots of sleep to stay healthy and happy. Having heard about the constant sleep deprivation that most parents experienced, she always assumed she would never have children.
One day, a friend gave her the book called Bringing Up Bébé by Pamela Druckerman. In it, Kathleen learned that in France, the vast majority of babies slept through the night within the first few months of their life. Babies who weren't sleeping through the night at 4 months were referred to a sleep specialist by their doctors.
Shocked that this was even possible, she started to dig into our sleep culture in North America, and the biology of sleep. She learned that sleep, for many people, is a learned skill that can be taught from birth. Friends of hers had gone through the Sleep Sense program with their twins, and found excellent tools to help their girls sleep on their own.
Kathleen and her husband Joel tried the program for their firstborn. With a little loving guidance, and gentle prompts, he was sleeping 8 hours by 8 weeks, and 11 hours by 10 weeks.

Knowing that babies could sleep was extremely important as two and a half years later, Kathleen and Joel brought twins into the world. At 6 months, they went through the Sleep Sense program, and in a few days the the twins were both sleeping through the night and napping well
Kathleen believes that every member of the family deserves to be well, both physically and emotionally.
The foundation of this health is a good night's sleep.
Sleep has brought Kathleen and Joel the resilience to handle 3 little children. It gives them the patience to be the loving and connected parents they want to be, and, the energy to sustain each day (most of which are bonkers, by the way!)
